Our restaurant, Huascaran, is named for the highest mountain in Peru, over 22,000 feet. It looms over highland valley, the Callejon De Huaylas sometimes called the “Switzerland Of Peru”, that attracts mountain climbers from all over the world. Most local people are farmers who produces many kind of grains and other native crops of the Andes. To that base, we have added traditional dishes from other parts of Peru, specially an array of sea food from the coastal region. We have being serving the Peruvian community of the DC area for 16 years. Now we want to reach out our English-speaking neighbors with the dishes that the Washington Post has called “The New Thai Cousine”.
We also cater and can provide a spread for a special event at your home, workplace or party setting. You can also contact us and discuss appropriate menus and estimates using our contact form
